Vincentian Family National Leadership Actions

The National Leadership of the Vincentian Family in the USA took the following actions:
· Approved the agenda for the National Vincentian Family Advocacy Committee to promote efforts toward: 1) eradication of hunger; 2) eradication of poverty; 3) access to affordable healthcare; and 3) children – meeting their needs for basic care, education, healthcare and protection.
· Approved the annual budget for the National Vincentian Family Website (vinfamusa.org)
· Agreed to have “A Vincentian National Day of Fasting and Almsgiving for the Alleviation of Hunger” on or around September 27, 2002.

· Accepted an invitation from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to help organize a National Vincentian Family Gathering on September 9-12, 2004 in Phoenix, AZ.
