Ron Hoye participated in a five-day, 500-mile bike ride this summer to raise funds for AIDS vaccine research.
Along with 1,500 other riders from around the world, he rode from Fairbanks to Anchorage, Alaska, and raised almost $4,000.00 all from confreres. Ron is thinking about a similar ride in 2002 that will benefit local organizations who fund innovative solutions to poverty in America. For more information about ways to participate in either cause, email Ron at rjhoye@attglobal.net.
