From August 19 to September 2 in Luznica, Zagreb, the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul of Zagreb is celebrating its XVIII General Chapter under the motto “With renewed fidelity let us build fraternity”.

After prayer and discernment, the Chapter Sisters elected Sr. Marija Jelena Ikic as Superior General of the Congregation for the next six years.

We give thanks to the Lord with great joy and express our fraternal support, our availability and our confidence to Sr. M. Jelena.

May the Lord sustain her in this challenging and demanding mission, fill her with wisdom and shower upon her his grace and light. Sisters Marina Pintar, Marija Stjepanka Pavic, Marija Juliana Djakovic and Katarina Nekic will accompany her in this service.

We entrust our Congregation and the new General Government to the prayers of the entire Vincentian Family.
