Visita Maria is an initiative of the Miraculous Medal Apostolate Philippines, whereby an image of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is brought to various institutions (hospitals, parishes, communities) to aid in the spiritual nourishment of the faithful. The project was started at the onset of the pandemic and continues to this day.
It is a form of propagation of the Miraculous Medal devotion. The image is brought to visit the communities, copies of the Miraculous Medal are distributed, and people are introduced to the story of the 1830 apparitions of Our Lady, through which the gift of the Miraculous Medal of the Immaculate Conception came about.
