Launch of the New Vincentian Family Website in Ireland
The launch of the Vincentian Family Website took place on 27th September feast of St. Vincent de Paul 2021. It is fitting that we were gathered in St. Peter’s Church, Phibsborough, for this occasion, as this beautiful church is the centre and heart of the Vincentian family in Ireland since the Vincentian Priests came here in 1838.
The Vincentian Family Council was established in Ireland in 2017 at the request of the President of the Vincentian Family Executive Committee.
There are 9 branches of the Vincentian Family in Ireland today. They include the Ladies of Charity, the Vincentian priests, the Daughters of Charity, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Association of the Miraculous Medal, the Holy Faith Sisters, the Vincentian Partnership for Social Justice, DEPAUL and the Vincentian Lay Missionaries.
The charism of St. Vincent de Paul continues to inspire individuals and groups to dedicate themselves to helping those who are living in poverty.

Congratulations Sr. Claire, and to all the National Council of the Vincentian Family, Ireland on the official launch of your website. I pray that St. Vincent and St Louise will ask the Lord for many blessings on you and each of the 9 branches of the Vincentian Family as you each continue with a vision and ministry plan for the years ahead.
This is good news.
I visited this church when I studied at All Hallows’ in 1999.
I have been over to Ireland a few times since that time, especially visiting An Croi with Carmel Boyle.
I am a New Jersey Sister of Charity. Collaboration is the word of the day.
This week I will be giving a retreat to 80 members of SvdP in South Jersey.
Blessings on the journey.
