The work of the AIC in Costa Rica during the covid-19 pandemic
During this time, which is so different for children because of the covid-19 pandemic, the members of the International Association of Charity in Costa Rica (AIC) has been preparing its members to teach children who attend the Vincentian Center how to use their masks, how they should maintain social distancing when working with or playing with other children, how they should wash their hands, especially when receiving snacks.
At the same time these children are taught how to use their phones or computers so that they can participate in virtual classes. Protectors are being purchased for these children (and their name will be on the mask). These children are also learning how to enter into deeper solidarity with the members of their family and with their neighbors.
The families of some of the more needy children are being provided with food. Our service today is more alive than ever before because our younger brothers and sisters need us.
