Bl. Rosalie Rendu: Serving and Advocating for Persons in Need of Health Care
Today, February 7, is the feast day of Blessed Sr. Rosalie Rendu, D.C.
This new presentation describes her caring for the sick poor in their homes, as well as her relationship with civil authorities in ensuring care for the sick and elderly.
It was this singular ability to collaborate with the existing political structure – as did Vincent de Paul and Louise de Marillac before her – that enabled Sister Rosalie to accomplish all that she did for the benefit of those weighed down by poverty.
