The AIC Provides Assistance in Umuagwu (Nigeria)
The Vincentian Family, wherever it is present, attempts to respond to local needs with the means that are available to them.
In October, in Umuagwu, Uzoagba (in the state of Imo, Nigeria), the members of the International Association of Charity provided needy children and widows with clothing, kitchen utensils, school bags, sandals and toys.
Ms. Tessy, a member of the Association, also brought some rice that had been prepared by several women from the village and this rice was distributed to the widows and the children, approximately fifty people.
