It is difficult for those of us who have never experienced living in poverty to really know what it is to be poor. The homeless simulation/online “game” called “Hobson’s Choice” is designed to help people begin to understand what it might be like to try to survive being homeless. It is a teaching tool for helping people move beyond “Blaming the Victim”. In a group setting, the game encourages thought and discussion.
