On August 13, 2017, the Sisters of Charity of New York will commemorate the one-week journey of three Sisters who made their way from Emmitsburg to New York City.

The Sisters of Charity of New York invite Federation and Vincentian Family Members to walk in the footsteps of the three Sisters who made their way to New York City in 1817 to spread the mission of charity. During the week of August 13–20, five reflections will be posted on www.scny.org on a day-to-day basis.

We invite all to use the material prepared by Sisters Maria Iglesias and Mary McCormick to enrich personal and communal prayer as we celebrate the courage and steadfast faith of the three pioneer Sisters.
