People all over the world are on the move. They want opportunity. They want safety. They want freedom.

Just freedom. That’s the name Sr. Michelle Loisel, D.C., has chosen for the name of this new resource.

The new web resource has information, definitions, stories, and editorial articles on issues relating to human trafficking, modern slavery and migration issues. Access the resource web site here.

They are on social media at Facebook and Pinterest, too

loiselSister Michelle, a member of the Daughters of Charity, has served others in a variety of ways. She was a nurse for many years, serving in the Middle East, Africa, India, and Haiti, as well as in other war-torn countries. The past seven years, she has served as Executive Director of Dawn’s Place, a safe, residential, and holistic program for American and International women who have been victims of sex trafficking. Even before working there, she had been an advocate for issues affecting the safety and wellbeing of women and children. She has now been asked by the Leadership of the Province of St. Louise, USA to inaugurate a new position within her province: Coordinator of Provincial Response to Migrants and Issues of Modern Human Slavery.
