On September 11, 2016, the Vincentian Family of Nicaragua gathered at the Colegio La Salle de León, commemorating the Jubilee Year of Mercy. It was the Second National Meeting of the Vincentian Family.

With the “merciful as the Father” motto, the meeting was attended by Fr. Flavio Pereira Tercero, from the Vincentian Family Office, based in Philadelphia, USA. All participants appreciated the words that the Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission, Fr. Tomaz Mavric CM, sent through Fr. Flavio, and for being attentive and interested in the current situation of the country of Nicaragua.

On September 17, 2016, the Vincentian Family in Panama gathered in the Parish of Our Lady of Charity of Volcán, to celebrate the Sixth National Meeting of the Vincentian Family.

Two Vincentian Fathers participated in the conference, offering two reflections: from the International Vincentian Family Office in Philadelphia, Fr. Flavio Pereira Tercero CM accompanied the group with the reflection “Vincentian Identity”, and Fr. Teodoro Justavino CM, Superior Regional in Panama, spoke about the Vincentian Virtues. Both, from their experience and living the Vincentian charism, encouraged the Family to continue on its path of service and dedication to the poorest of our society.

Meetings were attended by members of all the branches of each country, and some lay people from the Vincentian parishes.

These were certainly times of grace for our Family. We thank everyone who made these meetings possible.
