Happy 20th Birthday to the Center for Spirituality at Work!
Tuesday, August 16 marked the 20th Birthday of the Incorporation of the Center for Spirituality at Work! Twenty years fulfilling their mission to “unite diverse people for spiritual transformation and social justice.” Twenty years providing programs to develop spiritual directors and teach decision-making and life-planning skills to incarcerated women. Twenty years providing workshops, keynotes, and retreats for businesses, nonprofits, churches and civic organizations in the area of spirituality and work. And adding more recently volunteer spiritual directors, known as “Second Responders” who provide soul care through loss, grief, trauma, and transition after natural disasters, community tragedies, and other traumatic events. Happy Birthday and Congratulations on 20 years of hard and fruitful work!
From their website: The Center for Spirituality at Work is an educational, charitable, and community-based nonprofit organization. Our mission is to unite diverse people for spiritual transformation and social justice. Our primary strategy for effecting change puts the emphasis on mutually transformative relationships that engage people on the margins together with people of privilege in a shared project.
