millennialThe Millennial Journal is one great way to feed your soul. They’re at Facebook and Twitter as well. They have a key mission in today’s world.

Millennial is an online journal and blog that provides world-class Catholic opinion and analysis on the most pressing issues of our times in politics, religion, and culture. We aim to move beyond partisan and ideological divisions, bringing together all those who support the global common good and the worth and dignity of the human person.

Millennial aims to amplify the voices of a younger generation and provide insight and analysis on the issues that matter to this generation. Therefore, we will only feature the writing of Catholic millennials (those born during the pontificate of Pope John Paul II). We believe the millennial voice has often been neglected by other Catholic and secular publications, and we hope to remedy this.

Did you know there are two regular writers at Millennial Journal with Vincentian Family connections? Feed your mind and soul with the work of:

Meghan J. Clark, Ph.D. (@DrClarkM1) is an Assistant Professor of Moral Theology at St John’s University (NY). Specializing in Catholic social thought, Dr. Clark is a social ethicist who focuses on human rights, solidarity, global health and economic justice. Committed to public theology, she also blogs at Catholic Moral Theology, and has published editorials in America Magazine. She completed her Ph.D. in Theological Ethics from Boston College and her bachelors in philosophy and theology from Fordham University. Meghan lives in Long Beach, NY.

Mike Jordan Laskey (@mikelaskey) is the director of Life & Justice Ministries for the Diocese of Camden, NJ. Before moving to the diocese, Mike was a program coordinator for the Center for FaithJustice (its key programs developed at the Vincentian Youth and Young Adult Center in New Jersey), a Catholic nonprofit that runs service immersion trips near Trenton, NJ. Mike completed an MA in theology from the University of Notre Dame through the university’s Echo: Faith Formation Leadership Program, and he has a BA in English, also from Notre Dame. Mike lives with his wife Genevieve, executive director of Camden’s Romero Center Ministries, in Haddon Township, NJ. He blogs for the Camden diocese at http://camdenlifejustice.wordpress.com.
