We’ve all been used to visiting the website of the Vincentian Marian Youth (VMY or JMV). It’s filled with good information. Now, the folks at JMV are about to renovate their website, and have embarked on a collaborative project to promote participation in website design.

“We are in the process of revising our webpage and we need your collaboration. We have a new home page and we want to include the greatest number of photographs of the different groups of the VMY. Please send us your group photograph by April 30, 2015. You can send these by email or place them on Facebook of the International Secretariat with the hashtag ‪#‎jmvilogo‬ or ‪#‎jmvi‬.”

I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if you tweeted group photos @sijmv using the same hashtags. This is a great use of the available technology to foster participation and collaboration in a project that should be the concern of all. I’m sure the leaders would say, “It’s your web site!” Hopefully, all their members will participate!
