The Ladies of Charity-AIC is well represented in the UK with groups in Abbey Wood, Bexley, Darlington, Glasgow and Mill Hill. “They are part of the 200,000 strong International group begun in 1617 by St Vincent De Paul under the title of the Confraternities Charity and later became the Ladies of Charity – a name that many countries still use today under the AIC umbrella.
