As I write this it is a Saturday afternoon when many around the world listen to the Metropolitan Opera broadcasts. I am not currently listening to the Met but to an online presentation of the opera “Vincent and Louise”. I thank my Austrian confrere Alexander Jernej for providing me with the link. He has also provided me with a pdf of the official program complete with libretto. He informs me they are working on producing a DVD of one of the performance. (See earlier famvin post Vincent and Louise for further background information about this work produced for the 350th anniversary.)

I am fasinated by the opera music and video demonstration for Vincent and Louise. Is it possible to obtain a CD of the opera?Sister Maary Grace Higgins
Thanks for asking. All I know about a DVD is what I mentioned above… they are working on producing a DV. I have no idea how long that might take.
If you are interested I can send you the program.
