Zafèn announced that after only one month online it has now provided one thousand year-long scholarships to grammar school children in Haiti (along with books, a back pack, and writing materials)!

The website offered a variety of options for users to choose: single scholarships (at $50), two at once ($100), ten-packs ($500), and “full-school” options of $5,000 for 100 scholarships.

The Mirebalais Education Project Society from Calgary in Alberta, Canada contributed several “full-school” scholarships!

The worldwide Vincentian Family, by a donation of $25,000, very generously matched the first 500 scholarships donated through Zafèn.
