From 18th May -13 June 2009 nearly 200 Sisters (General Council, Visitatrixes and Delegates), representing 78 Provinces distributed in 91 countries, will gather in General Assembly at the Mother House in Paris.

This gathering is a real expression of the internationality and diversity of the Company and a reflection of planet Earth – “Global Village” to which the human family belongs. The theme of this Assembly is “Prophecy and Hope now and everywhere. During these special weeks the Company will reflect upon its future thrust and direction for the next six years in terms of: Fidelity to its charism; its service of vulnerable people; its spiritual life and the life lived by its members in community. It also has the task of electing a Superioress General and General Councillors. Before officially beginning the Assembly, the Sisters will have spiritual retreat, guided by Fr. Javier Alvarez CM Director General.
