Googling the above entries also produces some very revealing results… sites that are no longer updated, accurate, etc.
To my mind it points to the necessity of monitoring what is being said on both Wikiepedia and the Vincentian Encyclopedia.
I have also noted that many sites turn to Wikipedia and the Vincentian Encyclopedia for information that they use on their own sites.
Some may question sucha practice, but a practice it is. So from another angle it is important to know and correct what is on these sites.
For all of us – the Vincentian Family – “VincentWiki” (and other language versions) should be recognized as primary reference resourse of all Vincentian oriented information. It is up to us how liable this resource will be.
Wikipedia articles often lack right information. Sometimes knowledge brought by Wikipedia or other sources is unbelievable, not say not-true.
Vin…Wiki – English, Spanish, French, Polishand German – is a great project, and “living” – project. All living beings, even these virtual need to be feed, cared and developed. We all should be responsible for these unique parenthood. Responsibility means often ‘to contribute’, to ‘monitor’.
