Vincentian Historian, Dr Thomas McKenna, CM gives a public lecture at Trinity College Dublin: “Frederic Ozanam: Lessons from an Extraordinary Life.”
HeĀ contrasted Ozanam’s ideas with a discussion of consumer culture and its impact on modern society. Lessons from the life and ideas of Ozanam were presented as strategies to embolden active citizenship and social justice against the tide of consumer culture.

Dear John,
Consistently, I want to read the lead articles on Famvin. I click on the title as directed but I can never pull up the whole article to read, a case in point the Frederic Ozanam lecture by Fr. Tom McKenna. I’m very interested but frustrated. Help!?
Thanks,
Sr. Pat
Thanks for asking. It may be that others are having the same difficulty.
Since I am having difficulty in replicating your problems perhaps you can tell me what browser you are using (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Opera, etc. and, if possible, what version of that browser.
Hi John,
I am using Internet Explorer but am not sure where to look for what version it is…..where might I find that information?
I tried again on the lead article today and no luck once again.
And, I am interested in reading from this site as you can see. Peace, Pat

I can get to the whole article easily. BUT, i just had a guys find and clear out all sorts of temporary files to speed up the net. Maybe cleaning the files might help with the layout of the whole artcle.
Sorry. The word is ‘had a guy’ not, guys. poor English. Fast fingers. gh
I would like to follow up on your suggestion of cleaning out files, at least to th e extent that they are files I can clean out. Were the files you cleaned out on your computer, the sosurce site of the Ozanam piece or on the famvin site?
