I thought the October 15 blog poverty focus was terrific. However, the flip side of that is how little attention poverty gets in the blogosphere on an ongoing basis. Check out the graph on the front page of the Blog Action Day link that Aidan provided. One hopes that the big blip on October 15 results on some continuous highlighting of the issue in the blogosphere. I’m speaking both about posts that remind us of our individual obligations of charity (see, e.g., my post of yesterday here: http://susanjoan.wordpress.com/2008/10/29/what-you-do-for-the-least-of-these-2/) and those that focus on structural changes to reduce poverty, such as many we’ve seen here on famvin.
