Vincentian Song Festival: “Followers of Jesus Christ, Servants of the Poor”

by | Apr 8, 2019 | News

The deadline to participate in the Vincentian Song Festival — convened by the Vincentian Family Office in continuity with the Vincentian Film Festival held in Castelgandolfo (Italy) in October 2018 — is now open!

The deadline ends on June 30, 2019. In this first phase, the presentation of original and unpublished songs in Spanish are requested. As of July 2019, we will organize festivals in other languages.

Download the festival rules by clicking here.

The motto of the Festival is: “Followers of Jesus Christ, servants of the poor.” Necessarily, the songs have to develop this motto: the vocation to which we are called from the charism that we have inherited from Saint Vincent de Paul; the call to follow Christ in the person of the poor, from the different states (secular, clerical, religious) present in the Vincentian Family.

Who can participate?: Members of the Vincentian Family in any of its branches, or collaborators and participants of any Vincentian work (parishes, schools, etc.) or, in general, any Christian who develops an original and unpublished song (composed for the occasion), from this motto. There is no age limit for participants.
