Today is the last week of publishing a little biography of the Team who works for the Vincentian Family in the VFO. We hope of having shared our stories will make it easier for you to contact us with your valuable information. Together we can make collaborative ministry a hallmark of Vincentian Family ministry for and with those we serve.
Today we introduce Sr. Marge Clifford. Enjoy learning who we are, where we came from, and our ministries before serving at the Office.
Sr. Marge Clifford
Sr. Marge Clifford, DC has been with the Vincentian Family Office (VFO) since its 2015 beginnings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born and raised on their family farm in Valparaiso, Indiana which was inherited from her Great Grandfather during the potato famine in Ireland. She met the Daughters of Charity while a nursing student in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and from there entered the Community. Since then she has served in a variety of nursing and pastoral positions throughout the Midwest States and New York in addition to ten years as Advancement Director at Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School in East St. Louis, Illinois.
As the VFO Advancement Coordinator, Sr. Marge helps to research funding opportunities for collaborative projects that emphasize systemic change; promote a multidisciplinary approach for the project cycle process; define needs and plan strategies for problem solving; create opportunities within the Vincentian charism for meeting the needs of those served. Since 2014 she has also been a team member of the Wise Assets Management workshops to offer international and national advancement initiatives to grow Vincentian Family awareness and relationships.

I have known Sister Marge since 1983 when we worked together on the Daughters of Charity Administrative Residents Association. She was at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN and I was at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Great to see VFO has such an accomplished and able leader in her position.
