The English site of the Vincentian Marian Youth has a video on how to initiate a Vincentian Marian Youth group. The same site provides a pdf (link no longer working) spelling out the guidelines and resources.
To initiate a VMY group the following is needed:
· Two or more young people who want and desire to know Jesus Christ.
· These people desire to walk together in light of the gospel and in imitation of the Virgin
Mary and Saint Vincent de Paul.
· They desire and commit themselves to maintain a certain unity in the group in order to
mature as persons.
· An adult with mature faith experience and a conviction about and a lived experience of the
Vincentian charisma.
