Sulpician priests honored by the Daughters of Charity

Sulpician Mass webOn June 22, 2009, Sulpician priests were honored by the Daughters of Charity in a special Mass held in the Basilica of the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.  Sister Betty Ann McNeil, DC, Provincial Archivist, remarked, “It was the Sulpicians who guided St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in her establishment and formation of the Sisters of Charity of St. Joseph’s 200 years ago.” Link to full story:    http://www.thedaughtersofcharity.org/news/pdfs/PR_Sulpician_Mass.pdf

    I believe it was organized by the Bicentennial committee of the Emmitsburg, MD Province of the D. of C.- Sr. Vincentia Goeb, DC- chairperson.
