Asia-Pacific Visitors (CM) Conference Meet in Surabaya

MARSFIELD, May 22, 2006: The Asia-Pacific Visitors’ Conference (APVC) met this year in Surabaya, Indonesia from 2-12 May. The meeting was attended by the Visitors of the Congregation of the Mission (CM) from the Philippines (Fr Marcelo Manimtim), North India (Fr Mathew Kallammakal), South India (Fr Jose Aikara), Indonesia (Fr Sad Budianto), Taiwan (Fr John Wang), and Australia (Fr Greg Cooney). Also in attendance were Fr Gérard Du Tran Cong (Assistant General), Fr Manny Ginete (Delegate to the Vincentian Family, and Executive Secretary of the Conference), Fr Joe Foley (the Vincentian Delegate of the Congregation at the United Nations), and Fr Frank Vargas (Rector of Holy Name of Mary Seminary, Solomon Islands).
