It never ends for two Vincentian Lay Missionaries – Matt & Liz Astridge 2012 Vincentian Lay Missionaries.
They may be back in the United States raising their first child but obviously a significant part of their hearts in still in Kenya. Visit their Good Friends of the Pokot website to see the impact of their time in Kenya. See especially their photo gallery.
Dear Supporters,
We’d like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for supporting our 2013 Good Friends of the Pokot Education Fund Drive. Your contribution has already created several great opportunities for the children of the Pokot tribe in Kenya. Photos and details are below, but the most exciting development was the completion of a new school in Cheptesok, which is an isolated area that had no previous educational facilities. Because of your support last year, the children of this region will now have access to a primary education for the very first time!
This is an example of the direct impact of your support. 100% of your donation went directly toward projects that impact the lives of these children in a very immediate and meaningful way. Creating positive sustainable change in the lives of the Pokot children is our mission, and we couldn’t do it without you.
Thank you again for supporting our mission. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we move towards our 2014 fund drive, and please don’t hesitate to pass this email along to a friend who might share your passion for positively impacting the lives of these children.
With prayers and gratitude,
Matt & Liz Astridge
