Faculty from St. John’s University will again be assisting Archbishop Celestino Migliore in his work as the Vatican’s Permanent Observer to the United Nations at the upcoming session of the United Nations, where they will follow events and participate in a special prayer session and receptions for the opening of the important UN session that begins this month.Marilyn Martone, Associate Professor in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies of St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Mary Ann Dantuono, Associate Director of the Vincentian Center for Church and Society and Adjunct Professor of law in the College of Professional Studies, are jointly serving at the UN as observers for the Holy See Mission.
