August 2005: Sr. Kay Seibert, S.C., a physician, has been chosen as one of four local Legends from New York State by the National Library of Medicine.
She originally was nominated for this honor by U.S. Representative Maurice Hinchey in October 2003. In his letter of nomination, Rep. Hinchey wrote,
” Dr. Seibert’s contributions to our community have been unparalleled.. She embodies the highest ideals of the medical professions .”
