“We received word that some of our Sisters were in a car accident in Santa Domingo. They were on their way to the meeting with Sr. Blanca Libia. One Sister was killed (Sr. Adelaida) and two were very badly injured. The fourth is home with bruses and a broken arm. Father Gregory was going there for a visit and ended up welcoming the body of Sr. Adelaida and saying the Mass for the dead. Please pray for the Sisters of Santa Domingo as they are deal with this tragedy.”I am sure there will be more details forthcoming on the various web sites of the Daughters of Charity.
