The AIC (known as the Ladies of Charity in the USA) provides a list of it international projects whose main objective is ” to consider people in situation of poverty as real partners who have their own assets and solutions “. “AIC projects are exclusively initiated and achieved by volunteers for and with people in situation of poverty. Thanks to an analysis of local reality and close collaboration with recipients, projects meet the needs detected at grassroots level. Regular assessment at local, national and international level guarantees coherence with AIC guidelines : transforming aspect of the projects, participation, empowerment, work in networks etc.
