The tradition of the “parish mission” going back to the time of VIncent is alive and well in the Midwest. THey have posted their 2004-2005 schedule.Simply put, a time of renewal and invigoration for a parish community. Started by St. Vincent DePaul in 17th century France as a means of evangelization and renewal amongst the people of God, it continues today through the Vincentian Parish Mission Center in Independence, MO.

There are seven Vincentian priests who staff the center and offer opportunities of prayer, Mission and retreat for parishes and groups throughout the United States. Every year we preach over 50 missions to parishes across North America.

There are two basic programs we offer: 6 day Parish Missions and 4 day Parish Retreats.
