According to the Catholic Sentinel… “For the second time in less than three years, the Portland chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is looking for a new leader”
Bill Conyard, 66, the most recent executive director, resigned from his position as of March 1 for health reasons. Dick Petrone, 64, a 40-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, will serve as interim director until a replacement is found.
The search committee, composed of St. Vincent de Paul employees and board members, is looking through a list of 30 candidates for the position.
