More than 300 Vincentians gathered in St. Louis for the 2003 Midyear Meeting of the Society of St. Vincent de PaulThe meeting which runs from April 2 through 6 is primarily devoted to the business of the Society.
Gene Smith will present a report “Moving the Strategic Plan Forward”.
In addition to conducting the business affairs, the Society will unveil a major series of very effective training videos under the title “Serving in Hope” with short segments focusing on “Vocation”, “Vocation of the Laity” and “Vocation of Frederic and Vincent”. These videos are designed to be used in Council meetings.
The larger annual meeting historically draws over 1000 Vincentians from all parts of the United States. The 2003 Annual Meeting will be held in Atlanta in September 2-6.
