Headline from the site of Australian CM. – SYDNEY, January 24, 2003 (cathnews.com.au): A Media Release  from the St Vincent de Paul Society today states – There are, in fact, 2 – 3 million people living in poverty in Australia today. Despite this, there is often a sense of denial that, as a nation, we have a problem. Or that we could possibly have any solutions. The St Vincent de Paul Society believes we have both. To this end Vinnies is undertaking a nation-wide survey on Poverty and Disadvantage in Australia. The full Media Release can be read on the  CathNews Site.    The Survey itself, in which everyone is invited to take part, can be downloaded  through the St Vincent de Paul Society Site or directly from their Survey Page .  Part A of the Form is for anyone, Part B is for those experiencing poverty.  Forms have to be submitted by the end of Frebruary.
