Sr. Nancy Murphy DC has shared this material which provides some fascinating perspectives about what she knew about medicine. She researched this material while a participant in VIE or the Vincentian Integration Experience. This was a nine month program based in Chicago which brought together Daughters of Charity from all the English-speaking provinces for an in depth exploration of studying the charism and living in an international community.

I’m so pleased to see this work. Nothing has been done before on this topic and this is excellent. I hope the part on Louise’s choices of medications and what they were for will soon follow. Congratulations, Nancy!
Enjoyed your insights here into Louise and her work as nurse and nurse instructor. She really is something isn’t she? You can be proud of this, Nancy. And we’re proud of you!
