From 9-13 September, the 28th Week of Vincentian Studies was held in the Provincial House. The theme was: “Vincentian Laity for the Third Millennium.28th Week of Studies. ” The first conference was the responsibility of the Superior General, Robert Maloney, who treated the topic: “The Profile of the Lay Vincentian in the 21st Century.” The assistance in this formation week was numerous: some 310 people, including laity from Vincentian associations, Daughters of Charity and confreres. This meeting was noted for its pleasant fraternal atmosphere, the care of the liturgy and the good organization. During the meeting, the mornings were devoted to conferences and the afternoons to seminars. The Vicar General, Fr. Ignacio Fernández de Mendoza, was present throughout the five days of the meeting. On the last day there was a Round Table at which the national presidents of all the lay movements participated.
