OneWorld Radio Topic: World Food Day
In 1980 the UN General Assembly remarked that “food is a requisite for human survival and well-being and a fundamental human necessity”. Since then, World Food Day has been celebrated on every 16 October, to heighten public awareness of the world food problem and to strengthen solidarity in the struggle against hunger. OneWorld Radio wants to encourage you to make a programme on this issue – and prepared some useful links for you.
