At the request of the Visitors of Europe and the Orient, the first Session for the Internal Seminarians of Europe was held at the Berceau from June 10-22. Six seminarians from Spain and three from Italy, accompanied by their directors, treated the theme: “Living together our vocation in the spirit of St. Vincent today.” The speakers were C. Sens, J.-P. Renouard, J. Vega, and G. Niño. The sharings allowed the participants to express themselves in depth.
A pilgrimage to the Vincentian sites in the Landes region and at Château-l’Évêque helped the seminarians to see the young Vincent de Paul in another way. Decisions were made for pastoral work in the present and the future. At this session, V. Landeras gave his services as translator.
