290 young people from the Vincentian Family, belonging to 32 delegations from 23 countries, principally members of JMV, SSVP and AIC will take part in World Youth Day. Toward World Youth Day. From July 23-28 the 17th World Youth Day will be held in Toronto with the theme: “You are the salt of the earth… you are the light of the world” (Mt 5:13-14).
Some 290 young people from the Vincentian Family, belonging to 32 delegations from 23 countries, principally members of JMV, SSVP and AIC will take part in World Youth Day.
From July 24-26, they will offer to all the participants of World Youth Day a Vincentian Youth Festival, which will be presided over by the Superior General and which has as its theme: “Young people, salt and light of the earth in the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul.”
