The Social Justice Statement by the Australian Bishops titled “Building Bridges not Walls – Prisons and the Justice System” is now available and can be downloaded through the link BUILDING BRIDGES NOT WALLS . The statement was launched on Wednesday September 14, and asks Catholics to think about conditions in our prisons, who is sentenced to prison and why.
