HALIFAX, NS—The Sisters of Charity are pleased to announce the winners of the 2002 Elizabeth Ann Seton Award.
Two awardees have been selected, reflecting a change in award criteria to include couples and organizations. Our award recipients this year are Drs. Thomas (Tom) and Margaret Casey of Halifax, NS, and Sister Cecilia MacNeil, SC, also of Halifax, NS. The awards are presented annually to an individual, couple or organization, as well as to a Sister in Nova Scotia, who best exemplify Saint Elizabeth Seton’s pioneering spirit, dedication and commitment to the poor.
