The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Posadas Village, Muntinlupa, celebrates its 30th anniversary today, Nov. 27. The 30th year coincides with the 180th year of the apparition of Our Lady to Catherine Laboure in July 1830 in her convent on Rue du Bac in Paris, France.
Parañaque Bishop Jesse Mercado has granted the grace of Plenary Indulgences for pilgrims who visit the shrine until Dec. 8. Ongoing at the shrine is an exhibit of the different Marian images owned by the families in the parish until Dec. 8. Fr. Rolando Santos, Provincial Visitor of the Congregation of the Mission in the Philippines, will say Mass on the ninth day of the novena.
