Transitional Deacon Troy Schneider this month presented St. Vincent De Paul Church in Huntington Beach with its first icon – a piece that depicts St. Vincent walking with a child and carrying a baby in his arms. Schneider reminds us “Icons are always about prayer.” Be sure to click on the “Read More” link…
Before being installed in Huntington Beach, the icon was taken to St. Vincent De Paul’s tomb in Paris and blessed to earn the title, “third class relic”. (Thanks to Tim Williams in Australia who I see faithfully reads The Orange County Register!)
