JLOC_Albany_Oak_TreeJunior Ladies of Charity Connect With Their Heritage

The Junior Ladies of Charity from Buffalo and New York City who met in a mini-assembly on Oct. 24-25, concluded their visit to the Albany area by visiting the Daughters of Charity retirement facility, St. Louise Home. There is a large oak tree behind the residence, originally planted with acorns collected from a tree in France which was planted by St. Vincent himself nearly 400 years ago.

Both groups of Juniors now have acorns of their own. The Vincentian heritage is communicated in many ways.
