“What gives you energy?”
In my ministry at Seton Spirituality Centre, I have the privilege of accompanying people in their life journey as their spiritual director or guide, either in our scheduled one week retreats, or in an ongoing way. The uniqueness of each one’s journey, their efforts and acceptance of God’s grace, are endless sources of amazement and joy.
“What gives you energy?”
I’m energized by working in good groups with a particular project or purpose. Currently, I serve on the Home of the Guardian Angel Board, which oversees the work of a family service center, and also on a theological commission, whose task is writing for the Bulletin of the Canadian Religious Conference, the national organization of religious orders in Canada. The variety and quality of gifts and talents in these groups, and the will to use them collaboratively, are very energizing for me.
