Hundreds of Sisters of Charity of Nazareth from all over the world are at Nazareth, Kentucky this week and next for the Congregation’s General Assembly. In her opening remarks Sister Mary Elizabeth, President, said, “The very circumstances in which this General Assembly is opening are truly propitious. We, the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, are on the threshold of a new era, the third century of our existence! God, in all graciousness, has been part of our past, directing our efforts and wisely arranging everything for our good. We recognize it, experience it, and have a tremendous sense of being loved by God.”
