At 65 they show no signs of settling for retirement!
Founded October 27, 1947 the Sisters of Charity Federation:
- is made up of 11 congregations of Sisters of Charity + 2 provinces of Daughters of Charity from the U.S. and Canada
- has a character and spirit in the tradition of Charity founded by St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
- traces their roots to the first sisterhood native to the U.S., the Sisters of Charity of Saint Joseph’s, founded in 1809 by St. Elizabeth near Emmitsburg, Maryland
- VinFormation celebrates this anniversary  with a special post and an interactive map.
