“Beirut, Lebanon is in our Backyard” writes Sr. Denise LaRock, DC. “In June, I had the privilege of visiting Lebanon for an international meeting. As we drove onto the compound where the Daughters of Charity and Vincentians serve, a statue of St. Catherine Laboure greeted us as we entered the courtyard.”
See the beautiful pictures she took and her reflections about her visit in her blog Spirit of the Daughters of Charity.

Thanks, Sister Denise, for the thoughtful reflection on your visit to Lebanon. I have begun noticing some of the unique doors and windows on the buildings in my neighborhood in Harlem. Most of the folks live in apartment buildings with public entrances, so their windows express their individuality. Thanks for reminding me to look for expressions of creativity and grace in each window and each person I pass.
